Chris Livitsanis is a partner in A.T. Kearney's Energy, Process, and Mining Practice. Chris has extensive experience in both consulting and industry, and has worked across Europe, England, Asia Pacific, and the United States. He is based in the Melbourne office.

In a career spanning more than 20 years, Chris has lead numerous client engagements on a range of topics, including:

Business turnarounds and total business performance, working with CEOs and management teams of international business to design and drive structured and holistic programs to improve total shareholder returns
Operations strategy, addressing at all issues associated with footprint rationalisation to maintenance strategies for asset intensive industries
Organisational design, redefining organisational design to drive effectiveness and efficiency
Procurement transformation, focusing on delivering results and improving the overall capability across the organisation
M&A, targeting selection, valuation, assessment, merger integration, and synergy capture
Business development and strategic selling
Supply chain performance and all aspects of operations improvement
Working capital optimisation across entire businesses

In addition to his consulting experience, Chris has also held a number of senior executive roles, most recently with an Australian-listed global pulp and paper business, working for the chief executive officer and board as the executive general manager of strategy and business development. With sales of more than $9 billion, Chris was responsible for all M&A and business development, as well as having the lead responsibility for global supply chain and logistics.

Chris has also spent considerable time in FMCG operations, in a variety of roles, including engineering, production planning, industrial engineering, and operations management for Mars, Inc. Aside from A.T. Kearney, Chris is a director of Chilli Capital Group and Wildcoast Developments.

Chris has an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from Melbourne University, as well as further qualification in business administration and applied finance.
